How often does cheating occur in Japanese marriages?

I recently watched a documentary on Sex in Japan and it stated that sometimes, business men, married and unmarried go to night clubs or places where they can get sexual favors and on some occasions, the wives of Japanese men might go on paid dates. How common is this or is it uncommon?





And is this considered cheating to Japanese people because I heard from the documentary that sex and love are separate things in Japan.How often does cheating occur in Japanese marriages?
I really don't think Japanese marriages are all that different from other ones. Usually it's the same type of person, regardless of nationality, that is a cheater, or attracts cheaters.





We all have met the type of girl that's always whining about her cheating boyfriend, yet never breaks up with him, and then when she finally gets dumped, gets attracted to another cheater, completely oblivious to her friends' warnings.





Documentaries say lots of things. So do books and people. Take everything you hear with a grain of salt.How often does cheating occur in Japanese marriages?
